The SIMWomen Portland Chapter is screening Show Her the Money, a documentary about angel investing in female-owned companies. When the credits roll, a panel discussion featuring local female investors and founders will take the stage to discuss what the film gets right and what it looks like in the Portland market. Aimee Keeney, MBA, CEPA will moderate the panel.

This event will be sponsored by Firenze Wealth Management, Darktrace, ProFocus Technology, and Solutions YES, LLC.

This screening was inspired by the shocking data that less than 2% of venture funding goes to female founders and their companies, and we want to discuss what this looks like for local companies and founders in the Pacific Northwest.

Ticket prices will be $10 for SIM members and non-SIM member practitioners and $25 for vendors.

Profits from this event will be donated to a local non-profit, so come and bring a friend or two!

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. for Happy Hour networking, followed by an introduction and the movie at 5:15 p.m., and then our panel discussion from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m.
